Undergraduate and graduate courses
In the coming year I will be teaching the following courses:
-
Physics I, Information engineering, University of Padova
-
Exactly-solvable models, Scuola Galileiana Honours Course, University of Padova
I have recently taught the following courses
-
Physics I, Information engineering, University of Padova
-
Conformal field theory and bootstrap, PhD in Physics, University of Padova (with Xi Yin, Harvard University)
-
Laboratory of Physics: spectroscopy, BSc in Physics, University of Padova (with Alberto Garfagnini and Marcello Lunardon, University of Padova).
Innovative laboratory teaching
In the context of the course
Laboratory of Physics, I have obtained an innovative teaching grant (together with Barbara Arfè, Alberto Garfagnini and Marcello Lunardon) with the purpose
of adapting the electronics and spectroscopy laboratory to the pandemic. This includes the creation of take-home electronics kits, the automation of several spectroscopy
experiments for remote access, and a detailed study of the impact of these changes on the students' performance and attitudes towards experimental physics.
Among other things, we have translated the
ECLASS questionnaire
(The Colorado Learning Attitudes about Science Survey for Experimental Physics) developed by H. J. Lewandowski in Italian (soon to be published, please contact me
if you are interested in early access).
