We will discuss quantum aspects of black holes which have some common aspects with the SYK model of interacting Majorana fermions. Some questions are:
- What are the lessons for the black hole interior that we can abstract from these models?
- What aspects can we explicitly understand about the long time dynamics and the effects that restore unitarity?
- Can we understand them even qualitatively from the gravity side, or in the large N effective action describing the SYK models ?
