BHSPEC
BHSPEC
is an additive table model for use with the
Xspec spectral
fitting package.
It is comprised of a tabulation of artificial SEDs for disks accreting
onto black holes. These SEDs were computed using the TLUSTY stellar atmospheres
code.
- Original Xspec table models:
These table files were the first to be publicly released and are available via
the Xspec website.
bhspec.fits
covers a spin (a/M) range from 0 to 0.8 for alpha 0.01 and 0.1.
bhspec2.fits
covers a larger range in spins (a/M from 0 to 0.99) but is
tabulated only for alpha=0.01.
- New Xspec table models:
These table files are identical to the originals (above), but cover a wider
range of parameter space in spin and mass.
bhspe_spin_0.1.fits
covers an extended spin (a/M) range from -1.0 to 0.8 for alpha=0.1.
bhspec_spin_0.01.fits
covers an extended spin (a/M) range from -1.0 to 0.99 for alpha=0.01
bhspec_mass_0.1.fits
covers an extended mass range from 3 to 300 solar masses for alpha=0.1
bhspec_mass_0.01.fits
covers an extended mass range from 3 to 300 solar masses for alpha=0.01
bhspec_mean_0.1.fits
mean stress prescription with alpha=0.1
