I am a member of the School of Natural Sciences (and formerly a Chandra Postdoctoral Fellow) at the Institute for Advanced Study. I study theoretical astrophysics and much of my research is dedicated to understanding the physics of accreting systems. My research to date has frequently focused on spectral modelling of accretion disks around black holes in AGNs and X-Ray binaries. Before arriving in Princeton, I obtained my Ph.D. from the physics department at UCSB and a B.S. in physics from Carnegie Mellon.
