I’m now using the Wordpress-Deluxe Adsense Plugin instead of Phil Hord’s Adsense Plugin and recommend it strongly.

When you first publish a new post, Google Adsense ads won’t be appropriate in relation to the content immediately; it takes a little while (typically a few hours) for the correct ads to appear on the post.

Fix For Irrelevant Ads In Wordpress With Adsense
I’ve been running adsense on this website for a few weeks now but until today just haven’t been getting relevant ads showing up. This morning I worked out that it was because of the behaviour of the default permalink style in Wordpress.
