New Version Of PTLens Lens Distortion Correction Software Released

Filed under: News — James Stephens @ 5:32 pm

Thomas Niemann has released a new version of PTLens. It operates at least x1.5 faster. It is available for download here. Don’t forget to tip the author if you find it useful.

PTLens is my favorite lens distortion correction software for correction pincushion and barrel distortion, for reasons detailed in this post.

  2. Some PTLens does not correct for perspective distortion caused by tilting a lens up or down, despite what they claim it does. That’s probably the old version. From what I hear, the upgrade has no bugs and works well, so I off for a try :) Thanks James.
