Ensuring That Adsense Ads On A Post Are Correct
When you first publish a new post, Google Adsense ads won’t be appropriate in relation to the content immediately; it takes a little while (typically a few hours) for the correct ads to appear on the post.
Once your post has been indexed though, it could be three weeks before this happens again so you wan’t to make sure the ads you want get placed from the get go. Your idea of correct ads might not be Google’s.
Here’s a simple procedure to follow in order to ensure as much as possible that the correct ads are placed on a post right from the start:
- When you first publish a new post, make sure there are no Adsense ads on it.
- Test the post in an Adsense Sandbox.
- Fine-tune the post and retest in the sandbox until the ads are correct. Particular sites such as competitors can always be blocked within your Adsense account.
- Include Adsense ads.
- Wait a few hours for the site to be indexed by Adsense.
