The neutrino absorption cross sections for gallium solar neutrino experiments: GALLEX, SAGE, and GNO

Explanation

The best-estimate absorption cross sections for neutrinos incident on 71Ga are given as a function of neutrino energy. I also give the 3 sigma upper and lower estimates for the neutrino cross sections as a function of energy. The neutrino energies are given in MeV and the cross sections in units of 10^-46 cm^2. The results given here are taken from the paper "Gallium Solar Neutrino Experiments: Absorption Cross Sections, Neutrino Spectra, and Predicted Event Rates", Phys. Rev. C, 56, No. 6, 3391-3409 (December 1997). The cross sections given here can be used to compute best-estimates and uncertainties in event rates in the GALLEX, SAGE, and GNO solar neutrino experiments.
