COSTS
There is no fee charged for participating in the program, however participants ARE responsible for their own travel expenses, meals, and accommodation charges.  Accepted participants may arrange for their own local accommodations, or they may request to be assigned to shared housing at the Institute for Advanced Study. If they request on-campus housing, it will be granted based on availability, and they will be assigned to shared apartments together with other participants in the program. The charge would be $330 per participant for the nights of Sunday, July 8 through Thursday, July 19 (inclusive).

Weekday lunches during the program will be provided to registered participants.  Housing units offer full kitchens, and trips to a local grocery store will be arranged.

If you are accepted into the PiTP program, would you like to apply for shared, on-campus housing?  yes no

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
There are limited funds available to assist qualified candidates with their housing costs at the Institute.  Postdoctoral scholars will not be eligible for housing fellowships.  Among the applicants for a fellowship, priority will be given to students who cannot be supported by their advisor's grant or by their institution.

If you are accepted into the program, would you like us to send you an application for financial assistance for housing?  yes no

(Please note: A response of "yes" to the above question will NOT affect the committee's decision-making process regarding which applicants are accepted into the program.)
