Matlab 7.5.0 (R2007b) is available on all linux systems. SNS has a floating network license with a limited number of concurrent users, so please be sure to quit the application when you are finished using it.
To open a Matlab session, use the command:
matlab
Help features, including a Getting Started guide and examples, are available from the Matlab window, by selecting "MATLAB Help" from the Help menu. Help is also available by typing "help" from the Command Window, followed by a command name or topic.
