Connecting a Personal Computer to the IAS Network
Use of a personal laptop on the IAS network requires completion of a small registration procedure for each network interface (wired or wireless).
To access the Internet, first either join the wireless network named "IAS", or connect a network cable to an available port. Next, start a web browser; you should be presented with a registration page to register your computer with the IAS networking group. If this page is not automatically loaded, please browse to:
http://regdhcp.net.ias.edu/reg
On the registration form, you will need to enter your name, e-mail, and select the School of Natural Sciences as the School/Department. Click 'Submit', then follow the instructions presented.
