The IMP Email Client

Imp allows you to read your email at SNS using a web browser. Imp is part of the Horde web framework, which also contains support for multiple address books (all IAS email addresses are available through the 'IAS Directory' address book), a versatile Calendar, and you can also write memos to yourself. More features are promised in the future.

No special setup is needed other than a browser which has cookies enabled. Once you connect to https://www.sns.ias.edu/horde, you will have to enter your SNS login and password, and your email will be available. Your connection is secured and encrypted via SSL.

Imp uses secure IMAP as its underlying protocol. If you have set this up as explained on the Email Setup page, all your folders will be available to you under Imp too.
